Dynasty Sport assisting Lakapi Samoa as they strive for Olympic and RWC glory

Rapidly expanding international sporting apparel brand Dynasty Sport has stepped in to assist the new look Samoa Rugby Union, Lakapi Samoa with a short-term apparel partnership.

The agreement will see Dynasty Sport supply their cutting edge on and off-field apparel for the Manu Samoa 7’s and Manusina 7’s, Olympic qualifiers , the test series against the Maori All Blacks in June, followed by a Rugby World Cup qualifying campaign against Tonga. Lakapi Samoa affiliated members unanimously approved the adoption of the new strategic plan where the union will no longer bear the name Samoa Rugby Union but endorsed the new name to be Lakapi Samoa.

The soon to be released Lakapi Samoa apparel range will carry the new logo, the Teuila flower, the National Flower of Samoa, replacing the Samoa Rugby Union shield.

“We are looking forward to assisting Lakapi Samoa and working with key stakeholders through their transition and rebrand of the union. Dynasty Sport are excited to provide a range of apparel that not only provides players with our cutting edge on and off-field kit, but also embodies the rich history and culture of Samoa through our range of supporter apparel.”

The Dynasty Sport logo will also adorn the strips of the Lakapi Samoa HSBC 7’s World Series teams with the rescheduled tournament to be played in September and October this year.

To ensure Samoa Rugby fans have access to the full range of merchandise, Dynasty Sport have produced an online store, manusamoashop.com which now has the entire range of apparel available for pre-order, with delivery from late July 2020. The store will house all on and off-field garments, while the organisations extensive retail program will ensure Lakapi Samoa apparel is also available for sale at your favourite sports store. 

*The bridging partnership agreement extends through to the 1st of November 2021; however, unforeseen rescheduling will see the teams wearing Dynasty Sport until the conclusion of the agreed programs.
