Dawn of a new Dynasty for Pakuranga United Rugby Club
2022 is the dawn of a new Dynasty for Pakuranga United Rugby Club with a progressive and exciting new apparel partnership.
The deal with apparel partner Dynasty Sport has been confirmed and will see brand new on and off field kits for players and supporters alike.
Pakuranga General Manager John East said in the process of aligning with a new apparel provider the passion and forward thinking of Dynasty Sport set them apart.
“This is a new era for Pakuranga and we’re really excited to partner with a company that has such strong values and innovative thinking."
“Throughout the process, we were particularly impressed with Dynasty’s online apparel strategy and the eagerness to commercially partner with us. We’re looking forward to seeing our teams in their new kit on the field and hope members will like the new supporters kit that will be on offer,” said East.
Dynasty Sport Commercial Director Tyler Rakich said he’s delighted to have Dynasty partner with Pakuranga.
“Pakuranga United have an outstanding rugby programme and we’re pleased to be able to help them chase success at all levels in the 2022 season and beyond.”
A key feature of the Dynasty Sport range is their Ecotek fabric, which is made from ethically sourced, recycled plastic bottles.
This means from the playing kit through to the off-field apparel like polos and jackets, Pakuranga players and fans can wear sustainably produced kit. At any one time, the 15 Pakuranga players on the field will have 870 recycled plastic bottles in their playing apparel. “As an organisation, we have an important role to play in reducing our impact on the planet. It's fantastic to see that making sustainable choices is just as important to Pakuranga too. We can all do our bit when it comes to reducing plastic waste and this is just one of the many ways." "We're looking forward to getting down to Bell Park to see the teams in action once the season gets underway!" The new Pakuranga kit is available to purchase online now here
Pakuranga's partnership with Dynasty Sport is estimated to repurpose between 40,000 - 50,000 plastic bottles each season.
